I prepare adults for two Italian exams: the CILS B1 certificate accepted for Italian citizenship and an Italian passport, and A-Level Italian. Both are taught online, one-to-one or in small groups, and you can start whenever you like — even in the month before your exam.
CILS B1 — the Italian certificate for citizenship and a passport
Prepare for CILS B1, one of the four language certificates accepted for Italian citizenship and an Italian passport. In recent years, all of my students have passed with excellent results.
You do not need to have started your citizenship application before you prepare for CILS B1, or before you sit it — plenty of my students take the exam first. B1 is simply the level of Italian you have to reach.
Pricing (per person):
- One-to-one: £40 / hour
- Groups of 4: £30 each for a 2-hour session
- Groups of 2: £35 each for a 90-minute session
Session length will be tailored to your current Italian proficiency.
The requirements are set by the Italian authorities and they do change, so it is worth checking the current rules with the Italian Consulate General in London.
I teach Italian to adults in Bristol and online, so you can prepare for CILS B1 wherever you are.
A-Level Italian
A-Level courses are held online, and you can start whenever you like — even in the month before your exam. All of my students, both native and non-native speakers, have passed with excellent results.
We start with the same free 30-minute trial lesson as everyone else — we find your level and talk through your goals before you commit to anything.
Pricing (10-hour package, to be completed within one month):
- One-to-one: £40 per hour — nothing to pay in advance, you pay once a month
- Groups of 3–5 people: £200 per person
- Groups of 2 people: £300 per person
Many of my A-Level students come from Stroud and the Five Valleys — see Italian lessons for Stroud.
